'Bollezzumme' around the world

Mission accomplished in London. The editing has been completed. The great energy and passion of my editor Adel Oberto made it possible: we now have a very tight 77’ cut of 'Bollezzumme' ready to start the world trip in festivals, movie houses and theatres.

Another phase of the film creative process starts from here, that being the promotion and selling of a film about a city – better said a part of the city, the Old Historical Center – and about some of its eccentrici, picturesque, characters. And about the urban explorer who comes back to his home town and visits places, alleys, squares, sees people, chat with them - myself. It is a fantastic, enormous task.

From London I went straight to Rome and then Milan where I showed the film to friends, some in the movie business, some not, some who have seen previous editing and some who saw nothing before. The reaction, in both cities, has been excellent, very energetic and very positive. Already some talk about distribution deals and entry into Festivals has been made. Now I am going to New York City and Los Angeles.

You know that part of the project has been always to prepare a version of international allure, so subtitles have been prepared with a worldly audience in mind. In both the West and the East coast I have friends waiting to see the film and talk about how to promote it. I am good at preparing screening-event, in creating the buzz. You understand that many of those talks are very private and need to be done behind closed doors. Privacy and discretion are helpful and important for 'bollezzumme'. But, as soon as I have official and confirmed news, I will write it here immediately.

Il montaggio è stato completato. La passione e l’energia di Adel sono state fondamentali.

Abbiamo una versione di 77 minuti veloce, intrigante, sorprendente.

'Bollezzumme' c'è e può cominciare il suo viaggio intorno al mondo. Il film può andare in giro per Festivals e cercare una distribuzione. New York City e Los Angeles mi stanno aspettando con una certa curiosità. Come sai il progetto sin dall'inizio è stato pensato e realizzato con un respiro internazionale. Il viaggio è lungo ed affascinante ma molti degli incontri e delle persone devono rimanere privati. Le prime visioni private con 2 massino 7 persone sono state accolte con simpatia ed entusiasmo.

Il film ha bisogno anche di discrezione, ma non appena qualche notizia potrà essere divulgata sarà subito pubblicata su questo blog. Per favore aggiungi le tue idee, suggerimenti, contatti. Grazie del tifo e dell'appoggio, molto apprezzati.
